Hoshiyomi takes Kagome hostage to get the Ken blade, Akitoki’s halberd, so that he can put it together with its partner: the Kon blade. The bitter Hoshiyomi reveals his tragic relationaship with Tsukiyomi (a human priestess), as Inuyasha and his friends come to rescue Kagome.
