Sesshomaru arrives too late to travel using Tekkei’s blood river but Kagura provides him with a different way of entering the Netherworld. Hosenki is corrupted by his shard of the jewel which draws evil from Naraku’s shards closeby. Naraku takes the shard when Hosenki weakened from fighting Inuyasha.
