Akik!an is an anime series with 12 episodes based on the novel written by Riku Ranj and illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira, the artist of Shuffle!.

Akikan, meaning empty can, is about Kakeru Daichi, a boy attending high school when his can of soda magically turns into a girl. More “akikan” girls start to appear, and they all must be infused with gas from their own sodas in order to survive. The Akikans must fight each other to find out whether steel or aluminium cans are better.
